They both tell me throughout the day when they need to use the potty. But sometimes I think that they just want to sit there and don't really need to use it. I never know if it is real or not. I just need to find a few days when we have no plans and can stay home all day. Wish me luck!
I thought I would give some other quick updates on everyone.
Bimp
We found something that Nathan just loves--Shrimp. Anytime we have shrimp he sits there saying "Bimp! Bimp!" until we give him some. Lenny has always been a fan of it too. Brooke wants it just because the boys have it but she won't eat it.
Nate is our goofy boy. He was watching TV sitting like this. Do you call this sitting? I don't even know. Luckily, he at least had a diaper on this time. His not wanting to wear clothes or diapers is the reason I started the potty training.

Dominic the Comedian
One day this weekend, Brooke and Nathan were napping and Lenny and I were in the family room. Dominic came inside and told us that we had to go outside to see what he found when he was cleaning up around our tree out front.
Lenny and I headed outside and looked at the tree. Dominic showed us a bird's nest with a rather large egg in it. That's the biggest egg I've ever seen in such a little bird's nest. It kind of resembles an egg I saw in our refrigerator. Dominic thinks he is so funny! He didn't fool us smarties.

My Little Indian
Lenny is learning all about Thanksgiving at preschool. Last week he learned about the Indians. Here he is with his head band, Indian vest and necklace.

Lenny has never been a kid to play with stuffed animals. He has his frog but doesn't really care for others except for three. They are a panda bear, a chicken, and a kitten. He will play with those every now and then. As a matter of fact, he was playing hide and seek with Chicken Toes a little while ago. Yes, that's the name he gave it. The names are what cracks me up the most. Here they are from left to right. Berts, Chicken Toes, and Meat. I'm not sure where he got the name of Berts or Chicken Toes but he said that Meat likes meat. Dominic and I like the name "Chicken Toes" the best.

More Drama with Brooke
The day after Brooke got her finger stuck in the door, something else happened. She was reading a book and all of a sudden started making noises for me to look at her. I looked over and there was blood dripping down her finger. She got a paper cut! Can you believe it? And on the same hand. I don't think Lenny has ever done that. Brooke was so afraid for me to look at it but then she got the band aid and was fine. I guess she thought it was going to be as painful as her other finger.

Brookie now likes to whisper secrets in your ear. She is so cute when she does it. She leans her head way over, smiles big and then whispers "Cow. Cow." in your ear. She always says the same thing.
A New Game
Spinning on the computer chair. They love it but were upset that I made them stop so that I could take a picture.

From the Mouth of a Four Year Old
The other day we were watching Yo Gabba Gabba. There was a girl on there that said, "My name is Hannah.". Lenny said, "Hannah? That's a long name for just a little girl."

Naked potty training is the best way to go! Do you have a little potty that they could sit on without your help? Lenny's so cute in his Thanksgiving dress up...makes me miss teaching so much!
I love reading your blog, it is one of my favorites. Your little characters "children" are just the best. They have the funniest little personalities and thoughts, and I just want to squeeze them all up.
Poor little Brooky and her boo boos. At least she's tough, she make sock someone in the nose if they mess with her later on, with all this toughness she has gone through. :-)
And Nathan, he just cracks me up. I can't believe he "sits" on the couch like that...HOW funny!!
Way to go Lenny on the reading!!! It was not that long ago that you were worried about it, and now look at him go. Such a smart little cookie.
You are fabulous mommy!!
Your kids all have a different personality and one is just as cute as the other
Yeasterday I had the pleasure of watching Brooke and Nat. Kelli had a busy day of things to do and Lenny in pre-school. I had a blast!! I new I was in for it when they told Kelli and Lenny good-by with that big smile on their face.!! Yep, Nat watches TV just like the picture and Brooke tells secrets coe cow. Nap time was the best. The twins made it up the steps before me! I found them both laying on Lennys bed! Soo cute.
(I really have to be on my toes with them!) Good Luck Kelli,Dominic and Lenny.
Oh her poor little finger - it just looks painful! Not the bandaid one, but the red one. Hopefully that's the end of her accident stage for awhile :-)
Nate is hysterical - I'm sure he keeps you jumping, but he really is funny. This blog will be so entertaining to you for years to come.
That's funny that Lenny is learning about Indians - Brennan is too. He's such a good boy and seems like such a great brother.
Enjoy the holiday season coming up - I'm sure you'll have tons of funny stories to share.
Chicken Toes, how cute. Mikie named one of our kitties Tippy Toes because it had 4 white socks. No wonder your kids are silly sometimes, they take after their father. ha,ha What's he going to do next put Chicken Toes in the nest? ha,ha
