Nathan, my sweet little shy adventurous boy. You have such a big heart and are always doing nice things for your brother and sister. But if you don't get your way, watch out. You sure can throw a fit. I always thought you were a momma's boy but not these days. You can't wait for daddy to come home from work. You run to him and give him a big hug. Anytime you hear something outside, you run to the window and say, "Ga ga!" That's usually what you call daddy. Sometimes it's "Da Da".
Brooke, my little drama queen who has never met a stranger. You are so girly about everything. It's very cute. Somehow you have your brothers wrapped around your finger. You want to make friends everywhere you go. You aren't one bit shy and will walk up to a group of people, stand in the middle of the group and smile at them like you belong there. You are very curious and think that you have to pick up and look at everything and there's nothing that you miss.
I'm so glad you both are a part of our family. You've helped me to relax a little (daddy will disagree) and to enjoy life more. I don't even care if I look silly when we are out somewhere and I am chasing you all in different directions. As long as we are all having fun, that's all that matters.

Two! No way…
Baby A and Baby B both have normal heartbeats. That’s what the nurse explained as I was about to pass out! Your mommy was convincing herself that she would still have time for your big brother…. We left the appointment confused, emotional and with questions that we are still answering?
· I guess Lenny will have the small room after all.
· Let’s turn the loft into a bedroom.
· Does this mean I can stay at home with kids?
· Were going to need another crib, highchair, pack and play and two more car seats.
· By the way, we need a new car. I got it, we will sell yours and buy me a mini-van.
· Maybe we can move Daddy’s dresser into Lenny’s room and buy Daddy another one from the Good Will!
· Can we really do this? How do we make it work!
My only question: “Which way to Albuquerque?”
Brooke, you challenged me that first six months. From the early morning appointments, to the late night feedings you put me to the test. You won! I will always admire your courage, determination and especially your beautiful smile.
Nate, you will never win. Please give up now! Really, you are a very silly boy and you amaze me with your will and know how. I think you act shy to hide your confidence. It’s O.K. to let people see your strengths. Let them shine!

Mommy and Lenny, you did it! The last two years would have been impossible without your sacrifices. Lenny, you have been a model big brother and have accepted Brooke and Nate with love and not competition. Kelli you answered many of the questions that we faced with hard work, patience and your ability to accept change.
I guess we can do this. We will make it work!
