Here is Lenny making a Halloween card.
There were lots of fun games with prizes too. Lenny is pinning the nose on a pumpkin below. After the games we went to a haunted room and found snakes and pumpkins. From there we went back to the party room for tatoos, cupcakes and juice.
Lenny liked the scarecrow.
Last night Dominic and I took Lenny, Brooke and Nathan trick-or-treating. My mom was visiting for the day so she stayed at our house to hand out candy. (She also watched the babies while I took Lenny to his party.) We told her that she had to dress up in order to hand out candy at our house. We said that we do it every year. We don't but it was fun watching mom dress up like a nun. It was either that or a convict, those were the only costumes we have. It was Halloween. Isn't that a time for tricks?
Lenny LOVED trick-or-treating. He was so excited. Every other year he only went because we made him. This year was so much different. He practically dragged us from one house to the next. He was able to see lots of his friends. He calls all of our neighbors his friends. For the first few houses, Lenny would ring the doorbell and then say "Trick-or-Treat" like he was supposed to do. After a while, he switched and started saying, "I need some candy." The people at the door thought it was very funny. They laughed when he said that. I didn't let him go through all of his candy when we got home because it was so late. But first thing this morning, he took all of it out and lined it up on the table.
Even though the babies didn't complain one bit, they weren't quite as thrilled about going out as Lenny was. It was past their bedtime and they were getting tired. We had their pajamas on under their costume to make it quick and easy when we got home to get them to sleep.
Happy Birthday Anthony-Glen!
Today is my nephew's birthday. He is my sister's youngest and he is TWO today! What a cutie he is!
