The Case of the Missing Tooth

OK, everyone can call me crazy after this one. After noticing the new tooth that Brooke was getting, I started to get worried about it. The next day I tried to look at it again to see exactly where it is so that I could call her doctor. Well...I have yet to find that tooth. It's crazy. I looked at it several times that day before telling anyone about it. Brooke does not make it easy to look in her mouth and at her teeth. She fights it to no end. I've been struggling with her for the past two days to find that tooth again. I've come to the conclusion that there never was one in the first place. I keep telling Dominic that I'm going to completely lose my mind one of these days. I think he'll agree that it finally happened. Even though it makes me look silly, I'm glad for Brooke that she doesn't have a tooth coming in in an odd place.

Lenny had another play date today. I took all three of the kids this time and we all had a great time. Luckily the other moms in the play date also have kids close in age to Brooke and Nathan. Brooke is little Miss Social Butterfly. She wants to be right there with all of the other kids and play with them, especially the little girls. It's very cute. And she wanted the attention of the other moms too. Nathan, on the other hand, stayed close to his mommy most of the time. And he played with his sister and big brother. He did find a Spiderman chair that he loved. He climbed in and out of that a lot. Lenny was busy most of the time playing in the "big kid" room with all the toys. He enjoyed playing with someone else's toys for a change.

Nathan was taking toys out of the basket and the next thing I knew, I looked over and he was in the basket.

Here is Brooke chewing on the comb. She still loves her brush and has to brush everyone's hair. She isn't real gentle about it though.

Daisy loves to watch the squirrels outside. She really thinks she is going to catch one some day. We don't think that she will because she's too clumsy and loud when she chases after them. In this picture she was watching one that was playing on our deck. She wanted me to open the door so bad so that she could charge after it.

From the Mouth of a Three Year Old

This is another old story but a good one. There are two expressions that I use quite often. They are "you crack me up" and "that drives me up the wall". Lenny must have heard me say those plenty of times. One day he was laughing about something and he said, "You crack me up the wall." It was so funny. He says that all the time now.
