Anyway, here are a few (okay, a lot of) pictures from the summer. I will post our beach pictures on another day. We've had lots of fun making park and pool visits. We played in the backyard a lot. We also got together weekly with other friends for play dates. There were three of us moms and nine kids total. Wow! All ages 6 and under. It was a lot of fun though.
Fourth of July
This year we went to Quantico Marine Base to watch the fireworks again. It's really alot of fun. They have a few things for the kids to do, a band, and fireworks over the lake. We got there a little later this year and had to park far. The walk there wasn't so bad but after the fireworks when the kids were tired, it was a terrible walk. I thought we would never make it back to the car. Then we had to wait about an hour in the car before we could leave because there were so many people. Brooke and Lenny really liked the fireworks but sweet little Nathan cried for a while. I think he was mostly tired because it was past their bedtime.

Heading Out to the Park with Friends
Lenny took this picture of me and Brooke. I always forget to check for binkies before we walk out of the house but I usually notice them when I am putting everyone in their car seats. I can't wait until I can get rid of those. I took Lenny's away when he was 15 months old but with two of them at one time, it's been easier to just let them keep them. My goal is to get rid of the binkies by their third birthday. Wish me luck.

Fun on the Slip and Slide
Waiting for daddy to finish setting it up.

Riding Brooke's Jeep Together
It's very cute because they each have their own but like to ride together.

Brooke loves to drive Lenny's John Deer tractor. She is hilarious on that thing and can easily maneauver it among the trees in the backyard while driving it fast.

Visiting with Friends
We finally got together with our friends Dale and Michele. Lenny loved talking to Tyler about monster trucks. Brooke had a great time with Ashley and loved playing with her dolls. Nathan is my little loner boy. He would go back and forth between spending time with Ashley and Tyler.

Trip to the Dentist
I was so happy that my camera just happened to be in my purse when I took Lenny to the dentist. I was telling him how cute he looked with the sunglasses on and I was able to show the picture to him.

Time for me to head off to bed and get ready for Lenny's big day tomorrow. It was difficult to get him to go to sleep tonight because he is so excited. Tomorrow I will post some "From the Mouth Of" stories. I've been saving up a bunch of them.
