It's a very nice museum and I would love to go back again sometime without the kids. They really loved the airplanes, helicopters, and tanks. The rest was a little bit too much for them. I'm still not good at explaining things to my little inquisitive five year old. War is not one of my strong subjects either. But we still had a nice time.

The playground was awesome! The kids really enjoyed it. We had thought about packing a picnic to eat there but were afraid it was going to rain. Sure enough, it did just as we were getting ready to leave.
Nathan was the last to leave the playground. He finally started to leave when he changed his mind. He turned and was running and said, "Pee Mommy". Before I could get to him, he found the closest tree and his pants were down. Dominic started laughing and said, "Take a picture!". So I did.

Lenny still loves watching his Thomas movies and playing with all of his engines. He now has a new favorite thing to do. He watches a Thomas movie on his portable DVD player and stops it at the end of each scene. At that point, he changes his engines to match the scenes. He has all of the engines handy that are in the movie. Then he reenacts the scene perfectly. It's really very cute to watch him.
I'm not joking when I say that I think he has every Thomas video that has ever come out. He checks on the computer and lets us know if there is one that he doesn't have. And the scary part is, he can tell you every story on every movie he has. He used to play a game with me (probably a year ago) by asking me to name an engine. He then tells me what stories the engine is in and what DVD the story is on. And it's not that he sits in front of the TV all of the time watching them but he just has an excellent memory. He has always been that way when it comes to Thomas.
One more Lenny story. The other day he asked me for a pencil and a piece of paper. I asked him what he needed it for. He said that he was going to draw a picture of all the planets. He started with the ones that he knew what they looked like. Then he started asking me what others look like. So I pulled up the solar system on the computer. Lenny was so excited. He drew a picture of all of them and wrote their names next to it. I was doing something else at the time and then when he was finished, I looked at it and was very impressed.

If I'm sitting in a chair, Brooke always stands up behind me and tries to fix my hair. She will use whatever she has in her hand to fix it. Every now and then she will lean forward, look at me, and say "Kay Mommy?". She keeps saying that. The worst part is when I pretend it hurts and say ouch. She then laughs and looks at me with an ornery grin and says again, "Kay Mommy?". She thinks its funny if it hurts!
Whenever she gets mad or if you tell her to stop doing something, she will stomp her foot real hard and look at you with a mean face. Then she can't help but smile after she does it.
Nathan is my little sweetie. He is always the first one to say, "Gank Goo Mommy". (Thank you)

What a nice day and the pictures are great! Lenny is a good looking little guy and such a good big brother.
I'm so impressed with Lenny's drawing and labels. That really is excellent penmanship for a 5 year old. He has a lot of the lower case letters perfected too, Great Job! The Dollar Tree has planet placemats that have a lot of facts on them. He may like one.
The picture of Nate cracked me up! I have several of those with Mikie in them. When nature calls........ :)
I love all your little girl stories. They make me long for the day when I have a daughter who wants to do my hair.
What is it about little boys and peeing outside? They just love it!
