We Have a Biter

I was always so happy that Lenny was not a biter in daycare. Poor guy was the one always getting bit by other kids but he never did bite anyone. Well, little Miss Brookie is a completely different story. She has bitten Lenny quite a few times and left marks. After she does it, she just smiles and laughs. I put her in time out but Brooke and Nathan don't really mind the time out chair. Anytime I send one of them to it, they both run over to it and want to sit on it. Geesh.

Anyway, Brooke bit Lenny again yesterday and was sent to time out. When she gets out of time out she is supposed to give Lenny a hug and say sorry. Since she doesn't talk yet, she just gives him a hug. In this picture, she is giving me that “I’m trying not to smile because I’m in time out but it’s not working” look.

The other day we were having a variety of leftovers for dinner and they were having hot dogs. Brooke already ate all of her hot dog and she wanted more. The problem was that we didn’t have anymore but she still had plenty of other things on her plate. When Nathan noticed that Brooke was out of hot dogs and that she wanted more, he gave her a few pieces of his. Lenny did the same thing. It was so cute to see them give it to Brooke. She probably threw something at them shortly after that. She bites, she hits, and she sasses. And yet her brothers are still so good to her. She is very good at giving you the cutest little smile after she does something bad that it makes you want to laugh.

Nathan

Today I was getting ready to change Brooke and Nathan’s diapers when I looked up and saw Nathan running around the house with his (clean) diaper on his head. He is such a silly little one.

He is also my little sweetheart. He is always the first one to help clean up and he is always getting something for Brooke that she wants. If he is laying in our bed in the morning and I get up, he will get up too and hand me my glasses. It is so cute to see him do that. He’s done it several times before.

My Awesome Friends

I must say that I have some really great friends. And my friends that leave comments on my blog are WAY too good to me. To me, the best compliment that anyone can give me is to say that I’m a good mom. And you tell me that so often. I’m not as wonderful as you all make me sound. I’m just doing exactly what you are doing and you are some really great moms yourself. Thank you so much! I really do appreciate all of the comments. You are some awesome friends!
