But I Want to Meet Ms. P

Those are the words that I heard from my little guy this morning when I told him that he couldn't go to preschool because he is sick. He was very disappointed. Each week they learn about a new letter and this week it was the letter P. The preschool uses the Letter People to teach the kids which is why P has the name Ms. P. Lenny gets so excited to find out the next letter they will learn. When I picked Lenny up from preschool on Friday, his teacher told me that he had already asked her which one was next. She knew that he was excited. Lenny loves preschool and does not like to miss it.

Lenny started getting sick early Sunday morning--3:30 a.m. Why do kids always get sick in the middle of the night? I felt so bad for him because he was the kind of sick that I hate--vomiting. Finally he was done with that at about 7 a.m. and then he got the fever. This morning he was still warm but not like he was yesterday. As I type this, he is MUCH better. He is back to his normal self and talking NONSTOP. He never stops talking. He's been singing new Thomas songs that he made up and he's been telling me some new Thomas stories that he made up. I'm sure he will be back to school on Wednesday and will be able to meet Ms. P.

Okay this is just something that I am proud of. I am not good at making wreaths or anything. My mom is the one that does that. She makes some very pretty wreaths. I had some extra flowers so I decided to make one today when Brooke and Nathan took their nap. I know there are many pretty wreaths out there but I was proud of mine because it was kind of just put together quickly.

Dominic power washed the front of our house and porch yesterday so I thought that I would add a little to the front as well. :-)
