Beware of Kids

A long time ago when Kristi's kids were younger and even before Anthony-Glen was around, mom bought Kristi a sign for her yard that said, "Forget the dog, beware of kids". I thought that was the cutest and funniest sign. I believe she still has it in her yard.

I really think that I'm going to need to borrow that sign from my sister. It can get kind of dangerous in my house at times. I feel sorry for me, Dominic, and Lenny. With Nathan and his toy (or anything else) throwing and head stomping, and Brooke with her biting, hitting, pinching and hair pulling, it can get brutal here. And the thing of it is that it all comes completely unexpected. You can be playing with the kids and out of nowhere an engine comes flying through the air and hits you in the head. Nathan has a good and accurate arm. Don't dare lay on the floor or Nathan will stomp your head, he does it to Dominic all the time. Then you could be talking to Brooke all sweet and she will be smiling with her cute smile then wack, a hand smacks you in the face. Or if she doesn't get something that she wants she will resort to biting or pinching.

Not to mention the fact that my mother-in-law thinks that we must live a style of a nudist colony. Lenny says that he wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up but then he says that he doesn't want to wear any clothes. And the only way I can keep any clothes on Nathan is to make sure he keeps his shoes on. Otherwise off comes his pants, diaper, and shirt. If you try to put any of them back on him, he runs away saying "Off. Off." We had people over the other morning so I made sure that Nathan had on shoes. That didn't stop him. Right in front of everyone, he pulls down his pants and diaper and tries to take them off.

What do I do about these kids? Don't get me wrong here, they are really good kids. I just think that they think it is a game when they hurt someone else. Geesh!

Oh Kelli, I feel so sorry for you. I don't have much advise except they sell helmets at the store (for the throwing of things). For biting...have you ever tried to bite Brooke's cow that she loves so dear (maybe the ear especially). She might really feel sorry for it and quit. And as far as the clothes; hey, God made us our little or big birthday suits and Nathan wants just wants to show his off, ha,ha. Don't know if a belt would help, ha,ha (to wear that is, NOT to spank.) Let me know how you remedy all of your troubles.

You just have to keep your eyes open at all times! Ha Ha. Yes Nat has an arm on him, I got a lump once. Brooke I haven't got the teeth marks yet but, Lenny likes my soft skin!
Love those kids!

It sounds like a war zone there! The nudist colony comment was hilarious! A lot of the pictures of Mikie when he was almost 2 are naked from the waist down because that is how we potty trained him. We even have one of him putting the star on top of our Christmas tree "butt naked" :)
