Nathan is giving Brooke a kiss. I hope Santa saw that one.
Daddy and Nathan acting silly together.
Daisy is being especially good right now too. Even when those kids just won't leave her alone. The second they see her, they head right to her. Daisy just sits there and takes what ever they do to her. I think she is expecting a few extra bones in her stocking this year from Santa. She probably deserves it.
Even Wendel, who is not the kid loving type of cat, has been a little nicer to the kids lately. He let Brooke and Nathan get within two feet of him--that's a first. Lenny has been trying for years to get close enough to Wendel to pet him. It's always very funny when Lenny actually does get to pet Wendel. He is so gentle because he is afraid that Wendel will run away.
I hope Santa also turned his head a few times.
Family News Alert
Brooke took her first steps last Saturday. She keeps practicing every day and she smiles so big after she does it. It's very cute! It won't be long now until she is running with her brothers.
From the Mouth of a Three Year Old
I notice everyday that the bottom half of our Christmas tree keeps getting redecorated. It's funny that it's only the bottom half. And every now and then when I go into the living room, Lenny is showing me another bulb or ornament that "Daisy knocked off." Lenny was so kindly putting it back on the tree for us. Well I just assumed that maybe Daisy got it with her tail or something. Until the other day when I just happened to walk in and saw Lenny taking the ornaments and bulbs off and putting them under the tree. When I caught him, he said, "Daisy did that." Well, I witnessed the entire thing and Daisy was nowhere in sight. Poor dog is getting blamed for things already.

Funny Daisy must be doing the same thing to our tree! I bet next year Justin will ask for a dog...but for now Ryan sits and smiles in his crib, while he gets the blame. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for the New Year!!!
Those pics are so cute! I can imagine the chaos in your house right now cuz it's the same in mine - just with a little older kids involved :-) Merry Christmas & Happy New Year ... hope Santa is good to all of you!
Lenny is just a riot, and yes, I think Daisy deserves a few extra bones this year. You may have to leave some meat on them though, she needs a special treat for being so loveable to good to your "other" children. :-))
Merry Christmas Kel!!
The pictures are great. It's funny how they learn to be "sneaky" at such a young age. Merry Christmas!
